I love this post. I have to agree, people hang onto stuff they might need someday, but usually that day never comes. Personally, I love a good purge twice a year; spring and autumn.

Quote for the Week: a Habit of Excellence

We are what we repeatedly do.
Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.
~Aristotle

I heard someone famous once say that she was not a naturally outgoing person. She simply made the choice to pretend that she was - like she was acting a part in a play everyday. She wanted to be bold, so she dressed up in bold clothes and played the part. When her natural reaction to a new situation was to shrink back and observe, she would jump in with both feet.

And before she knew it, she discovered t… Continue

Unplugged...

I went through a period of being unplugged. It's not because I needed to regroup.

Every once and a while I disconnect and go into hiding. I actually don't know why I do it.

So I stopped manic facebooking and twittering, blogging, feed reading, blog commenting, and answering the phone.

And then this happened.

Just one thing after another... add to that the marriage problems that have been a problem for years that have been much worse lately, and homeschooling, and work, and every other bloody thing I do every day, and you'll understand why I have been absent for so long!! LOL... Gotta laugh at it, or else I'd pull… Continue
